The guesthouse sits a 3-minute walk from Meggen Train Station, with bus stop 24 directly outside the door. A free Lucerne Visitors Travel Card is provided to all guests, covering bus and train rides to Lucerne city center in about 20 minutes. Lake Lucerne is a 10-minute walk away, and Meggenhorn Castle is within walking distance.

History & Service

The building is a historic monument over 180 years old, run by the 7th generation of the same family. The owner, Robert, personally greets each guest, explains room features, and offers local recommendations. A self check-in system with key codes is available for arrivals outside the 5:00-8:00 pm check-in window.

Free private parking is available directly in front of the building, a rare convenience in the Lucerne area. The guesthouse provides a baby cot upon request and serves breakfast that caters to specific dietary needs. CCTV cameras in common areas and smoke alarms ensure safety for families and all guests.
